This work consists of a miniature table and stools. The table and stools are painted black and scuffed to reveal colored paint underneath. The table is rectangular, around 4′ tall, 8″ wide, and 34″ long. On top of the table rests an approximation of a pelican skull roughly carved out of wood, painted white and laying on it’s side. On either side of the table there are eight stool. On each stool, an object is seated. There are no stools on the short end of the table. The objects are all in a scale relative to the stool and easily perch on top. The objects are in a meeting of some sort. This work can be viewed in several ways. It can be set by itself or on a larger table with stools around it to encourage further audience participation.
