Pairings

Pairings
Partner artist: Fábio Erdos Land distribution in the Americas has a long history of exclusionary development that
has left marginalized communities without land or labor rights, and subject to systematic
racial discrimination. The collaborative pairing between husband-wife photographers,
Fábio Erdos and Lianne Milton, explores the relationship between people and their
environment. What emerges are politically charged landscapes about the socio-economic reliance on land in Guatemala and Brazil. Yet there is immense
strength in the face of adversity.
