This work is investigating the world of the child of an immigrant, specifically the journey of a mother and child in and through America. The work looks to express the often-mixed signals experienced as a first-generation born in the United States and as a child of mixed race. The intent is to share these feelings and experiences with the audience to spark discussion around these experiences both similar and different.
