This is a screen shot of one of the boards I created for use to highlight the colors in the color wheel. I created 24 boards that covered such topics as: the color wheel, various colors such as tangerine, blue, lilac, etc. Each board had multiple references within them to: fashion, advertising, sculpture, art and the Elements of Art and Principles of Design such as form, shape, line, etc. I highlighted various artists’ works in many of the boards as well. They were calibrated very carefully to yield a clear sense of tone, both visually and conceptually. Doing that helped me to articulate what kind of curriculum I’d build off of them
