further on is a multi-channel video installation. It’s narrative is set in an imagined future. The installation is composed of three narrative-based videos, which play simultaneously on nine monitors. This post-apocalyptic story begins after ongoing warfare and pollution has the depleted the world’s natural resources. The Earth has become uninhabitable and the remaining people retreat into secured areas called Sanctuaries which function as a humanmade natural microcosms. further on is a psychological journey about individualization while navigating the powers that be from outside (the Administration) and inside (the psyche). Serena, the main character, struggles for individuality while she serves as the sonic translator for the Living Archives, which houses precious plant specimens.
