Fallen Soldiers was an installation sculpture made entirely of broken glass. For this piece I collected all of the “garbage” glass and failed projects from the glass lab and reassembled them into an aesthetically pleasing, yet unsettling, pile on the floor. This piece is meant to exemplify how success can come through failure. In this case, I curated the “failed” works of my classmates into a piece that may (or may not) be considered successful.
