Modern Food Pyramid
To reduce the negative effects of plastic on the environment, recycling has been invented to recirculate plastic products and reduce its presence in the environment. However, 91% of plastics are not recycled (Great Britain's Royal Statistical Society). Plastic production has varied and used elements that are not recyclable like oils and harsh chemicals. Due to this, our food pyramid now involves plastic. It’s a cycle that needs to be reverted. So here is my question, when we play with plastic toys as children, why pretend to eat the food? Plastic is already apart of our food chain now, why not speed up the process?
