white trash/brown trash features a collection of the trash produced in the course of a week by two friends: one white, one brown. current political discourse often focuses upon what people of color are perceived to be taking from white people, but fails to discuss what is left behind. these two collections invite you to compare the remains of a week of life from two people with two different colors of skin, and ponder the common humanity of leaving something behind.
