As the semester progressed, I noticed my classmates and myself feeling overwhelmed. I decided our efforts should be recognized and rewarded. Shiny stickers were stitched to flyers and posted around campus, encouraging passerby to take a gold star. I hoped to spread solidarity and warm encouragement; I hoped to say we are all deserving.
