This is an abandoned farmstead in Stark County North Dakota. It represents an exploration and study of place, history, and people. I chose this photograph as the methodologies behind our fieldwork coincide with the theory behind our introductory class. That is, putting ourselves into an uncomfortable and foreign setting full of strangers, in which we used experimental and traditional methods to analyze our context in the world and create an understanding of a trajectory within it.
