Performance Art, Personal space (room), 1:1 interaction, This performance art piece took place in a room of an apartment that belongs to the artist, and this performance was an invasion of a personal space (by choice) and the artist welcomed the audience members one by one for a more intimate experience. The duration of the performance was approximately six minutes and each audience member was invited to sit on a chair facing the bed where the artist was unraveling a ball of red thread. The artist had sunglasses and a purple wig on which added an aspect of mystery and uncertainty to the piece. The ceiling had red thread dangling off it and on the red threat there were papers hanging that stated negative words in three different languages; Korean, English and Chinese which are languages that are important to the artists’ life. During the performance there was also eerie piano music playing which added to the suspense of the piece.
